Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in the US: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at each app's metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, which peaked at approximately $44.8K in early July before declining to around $33.8K by the end of September. Weekly downloads also varied, starting at 21.9K in late June and finishing at 20.4K. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users peaking at over 851K in mid-August, although this number decreased to about 634K by the quarter's end.

Find my Phone - Family Locator showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching nearly $39K by late September. Downloads surged from 1.6K in late June to a high of 24.1K in early September. Active users also grew, peaking at over 77K in early August, though they later declined slightly to around 68K.

RV LIFE - RV GPS & Campgrounds saw a gradual decline in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at $20.9K and dropped to $14.1K by the end of the quarter, while downloads fell from 18.2K to just under 3K. Active users decreased from 12.3K in early July to about 8.5K at the end of September.

The Dyrt: RV & Free Camping had a mixed quarter, with revenue starting at $18K and fluctuating before ending at $11.1K. Downloads peaked at 12.7K in late August but dropped to 5.1K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline, beginning at 51K and finishing at around 24.7K.

Finally, GuideAlong | GPS Audio Tours maintained stable revenue, averaging around $8.3K in late June and concluding at $5.6K. Downloads were relatively low, starting at 1.2K and ending at 662.
